He will direct you to weaken the pillar by crushing eight bright orange flowers scattered across the nearby ground.
Removing these flowers is straightforward, as you only need to approach each orange blossom and interact with the prompt. Once all eight flowers are crushed, report back to Scar to unlock the next phase of the quest.
Planting and Watering Night Thorn Seeds
Scar will then hand you 15 Night Thorn Seeds that must be planted in three distinct areas of the Sunlit Plateau. You must plant five seeds near the Pillar of Nurturing, five near the Dreamlight Tree across the bridge, and five near the Vitalys Mines entrance.
